About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated team member to join our Picking and Packing team at our Glenside Warehouse. In this role, you will be instrumental in our distribution process, working in a clean, temperature-controlled environment where food safety and hygiene are paramount.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing orders with precision and efficiency.
- Handling food products in accordance with strict safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and warehouse safety guidelines.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas.
- Reporting any issues or food safety concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following:
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- A dependable and collaborative team player who is always ready to contribute.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or food handling environment is highly regarded.
- A commitment to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.
- Proficient counting and mathematical skills.
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Fluency in English.
- Physical fitness and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
