About the Role We are currently seeking motivated and dependable Class 1 and Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced drivers and those looking to step into a rewarding position within a supportive environment. At Bidfood, we prioritize safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. This position operates Monday to Friday, with rostered Saturdays, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, ensuring a minimum of 40 hours per week. An immediate start is available for the right candidate. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for: - Safely and efficiently operating Class 1 and Class 2 delivery vehicles to transport products to our valued customers. - Following delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. - Loading and unloading products with care to maintain product quality. - Providing exceptional customer service and building positive relationships with our customers. - Maintaining accurate delivery records, including invoices, proof of delivery, and other relevant documentation. - Lifting and carrying heavy boxes weighing 20kg or more, which requires a good level of physical fitness. - Working effectively as part of a team. - Adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures at all times. Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria: - New Zealand Citizenship, Residency, or a valid New Zealand work permit. - A current Class 1 and Class 2 driver’s license. - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check.
