Broadlands Station is a family-owned property spanning 1650 hectares, located near Palmerston North in the Manawatu - Whanganui region. We specialize in breeding and finishing sheep and beef, currently managing a herd of 300 Hereford cows and 6000 Perendale ewes. Our commitment to quality farming practices makes us a respected name in the industry, and we are looking for a dedicated Stock Manager to join our team.
About the Role
As a Stock Manager at Broadlands Station, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the farm owner and other team members. This is a unique opportunity that does not come around often, allowing you to be an integral part of our operations and contribute to the success of our farm.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Relevant industry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A well-trained team of dogs
- Experience in pasture management
- Strong organizational skills
