Class 4 Truck Driver - Civil

About the Company We are a well-established local contractor based in Christchurch, actively involved in various projects throughout the Christchurch CBD and surrounding subdivisions in Selwyn. As we prepare to launch several new projects in the coming weeks, we are seeking skilled and competent individuals to join our team. About the Role We are currently looking for All-Rounders to operate a variety of machinery, specifically digger operators, Civil Labourers, and Class 4 Truck Drivers with WTR endorsements. The available roles include: Civil Class 4 Truck Driver with WTR: This position involves operating a truck and may require labouring duties and operating a loader as needed. Candidates should have experience driving on civil sites. All-Round Operator: We are looking for someone confident in operating machinery across various sites. Experience in drainage work is preferred. Civil Labourer: Ideal candidates will have experience working on civil or drainage sites. A Class 2 licence for driving a small tipper is preferred. Responsibilities will include plate compaction, assisting drainlayers, and general labour duties on site. These positions offer immediate starts for successful candidates, with opportunities for long-term temporary to permanent employment. Requirements We are looking for individuals who are: - Reliable and a team player - Possess their own vehicle for transportation to and from sites - Able to pass a pre-employment drug test - Hold a current Site Safe certification (we can assist with this) Benefits We offer a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to grow within our company.
