About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist to become a part of our Thames-based physiotherapy team. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, resourceful, and genuinely passionate about working with patients and their whanau on their health journey. About the Team/Service Our Physiotherapy service is comprised of approximately 90 staff, including physiotherapists, assistants, and administrators, who work across a large geographical area within Te Whatu Ora, Waikato. We have team members based at Waikato Hospital, our secondary hospital in Thames, three rural hospitals in Tokoroa, Te Kuiti, and Taumarunui, as well as various community locations, including Morrinsville, Matamata, Cambridge, and Ngaruawahia. Our vision is to provide high-quality physiotherapy care that promotes, encourages, and enables health, wellbeing, and independence for our patients and their whanau. We are committed to ensuring excellence in care, supporting and training our staff, maintaining evidence-based practices, and ensuring our services are equitable, efficient, and effective to meet the needs of our patients and their families. We take pride in fostering a friendly and supportive team environment where staff can grow and develop. About You To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a current New Zealand physiotherapy registration and an annual practising certificate. A valid full New Zealand driver's license is also required. We are looking for someone who can work autonomously while also collaborating effectively as part of the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team in a variety of settings.
