As we prepare to embark on an exciting new venture, we are looking to build a skilled support team to join us for a project that promises to be both rewarding and engaging. About the Role We are seeking motivated sparkies, fitters, and mechanics to support a 12-week industrial plant installation project in Harewood, starting in August and continuing through October. You will work alongside our core team of electricians, fitters, and welders, contributing to essential tasks such as cable pulling, installing cable trays, and setting up chutes, conveyors, and motors. We value competent tradespeople and welcome candidates with an electrical or engineering background, though we are also open to considering relevant experience from other fields. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are crucial as we aim to create a cohesive team that operates smoothly and efficiently. For those who excel in their roles, there may be opportunities for permanent positions following this project. Requirements - Experience in electrical, mechanical, or other relevant trades - A strong work ethic and willingness to commit to 50-hour work weeks - Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset - A positive attitude and a good sense of humor - EWP and SiteSafe tickets are beneficial but not essential Benefits This role offers a short-term project with the potential for extension, and you will be joining a team of young, skilled engineers who appreciate camaraderie in the workplace. We provide the majority of tools and personal protective equipment, along with free parking on-site.
