    Location: Wellington Regional Hospital Contract: Permanent Full Time, Rostered / Rotating (shift start times 0700, 0800, 0930, 1430, 2245) About the Company Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to serving all New Zealanders, grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. About the Role We are seeking a Theatre Support Assistant (TSA) to join our team at Wellington Regional Hospital. In this role, you will provide essential cleaning services between surgeries and procedures across 16 operating theatres. Your responsibilities will include: - Restocking and setting up theatres - Preparing surgical instrumentation and equipment - Conducting in-between cleaning during surgeries and completing final cleans About the Team/Service/Location Our team is a close-knit group of professionals who play an integral role within the multi-disciplinary team. We value collaboration and support, and we are looking for someone who is eager to contribute to our mission. About You The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: - Experience working in a high-needs environment, with the ability to respond quickly to various changing and stressful situations - Flexibility and adaptability in the face of challenges - Capability to work under direction while also performing tasks independently - Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in computer use - Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable - Knowledge of standard precautions in handling equipment and disposing of supplies Working at Health New Zealand At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, we believe in the "weaving of wellness."
