About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Endoscopy, Surgical and Peri-operative Services team in Northland, New Zealand. In this permanent full-time position, you will work 40 hours per week. As an expert nurse, you will bring advanced knowledge and skills to your practice. We expect our Nurse Practitioners to self-regulate and operate within their areas of competence and experience. You will play a vital role in meeting patient health needs by diagnosing and managing conditions through comprehensive assessment, treatment, and review planning in collaboration with patients. Additionally, you will conduct upper and/or lower gastrointestinal endoscopy using video endoscopes within the endoscopy unit and provide specialized nursing support to our Gastroenterology and General Surgery services. About You To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) as a Nurse Practitioner, along with a valid annual practicing certificate. - A minimum of four years of experience in a relevant area of practice. - Completion of an approved clinical Master's degree. - A strong personal commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. - Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to write reports effectively.
