About the Role
We are currently seeking a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialty Nurse for a permanent part-time position, working 24 hours per week at our office on Commerce Street in Whangarei. In this role, you will facilitate and coordinate our community-based Cardiac Education Programme. You will conduct skilled nursing assessments of cardiac clients, ensuring they maintain optimal health and independence.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our cardiac rehabilitation service is comprised of three dedicated nurses who operate in Whangarei and the Mid/Far North regions. We work collaboratively to provide comprehensive coverage for our cardiac rehabilitation services in Te Tai Tokerau. This position presents an excellent opportunity to apply and expand your knowledge in cardiology while being part of a small, skilled team.

About You
We are looking for a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate. You should possess a relevant Post Graduate Certificate and hold a Designated Senior Nurse PDRP. Recent experience in a cardiology setting is essential, as is a current and full New Zealand driver’s licence. While not mandatory, experience or training in adult teaching programs would be advantageous.
