About the Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you will take on a hands-on management position, leading your team by example and ensuring that every customer receives outstanding service. We are looking for a proactive individual who can quickly adapt to our operations and demonstrate the qualifications outlined below.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a pizza store or similar environment
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Strong credentials in customer service
- Experience managing budgets to run a profitable business
- Timely reporting capabilities
- Proficiency in financial report reconciliation and cash handling
- Experience in administration tasks, including stock management, ordering, and invoice management
In this position, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building a strong foundation for daily store operations to ensure overall success
- Planning, formulating, and implementing operational budgets
- Managing monthly goals in alignment with the financial year business plan
- Focusing on the essential elements needed for smooth and efficient store operations
- Reviewing and updating the menu and pricing to enhance profitability
- Maintaining stock levels and assessing the popularity of dishes before placing orders
- Facilitating supplier payments and negotiating favorable terms when appropriate
- Reviewing suppliers to ensure quality control and proper order fulfillment
- Planning, formulating, and implementing marketing and promotional activities to boost profitability and popularity
- Recruiting, training, and supervising junior staff, delegating duties, and regularly evaluating performance
- Managing staff with respect, supporting them in achieving set objectives, and fostering a positive work environment
- Setting, reviewing, and monitoring customer service standards to ensure timely and efficient service
