Join us and start your career journey today. About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Residential Finishing Carpenters to join our well-respected construction company in Christchurch. In this role, you will work on high-profile residential projects, handling tasks that range from installing skirting to fitting balustrades. What You Will Be Doing In this position, your responsibilities will include: - Performing finishing work, including the installation of doors and windows - Reading and interpreting construction plans - Collaborating with your team to meet project deadlines - Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations What We Require To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - Proven experience in residential carpentry - A trade qualification is preferred, though not essential - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe certification (we can assist you with this) - Capability to pass a pre-employment drug test - Full personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic hand tools Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
