About the Role We are seeking skilled formwork carpenters to join a long-term civil project at Auckland Airport, set to commence in January 2026. This position offers steady hours and the opportunity to work on a large-scale renewals project. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and dismantling formwork for concrete pours, ensuring both accuracy and safety on site. This opportunity is ideal for those with experience in civil carpentry who are looking for reliable work. Duties In this role, you will: - Build and dismantle formwork systems - Read and interpret plans and measurements - Use hand tools and power tools safely - Assist with concrete pours and site preparation - Perform general site duties and ad-hoc tasks as required to support smooth operations Requirements To be successful in this position, you will need: - Proven experience in formwork carpentry - The ability to read plans and work to specifications - A good level of physical fitness and a strong focus on safety - Reliable transport and effective communication skills - To pass a drug and alcohol screening as well as a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, including: - Weekly pay with an additional 8% holiday pay - Competitive hourly rates ranging from $25.50 to $30 - A long-term project lasting approximately three years - A strong safety culture and support from your crew We encourage you to apply if you meet the qualifications for this position.
