About the Role We are looking for dependable and physically fit civil labourers to join a large-scale renewals project at Auckland Airport starting in January 2026. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, including demolition, operating jackhammers and plate compactors, and supporting general site operations. This position is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused and eager to engage in hands-on work. Duties Your main responsibilities will include: - Performing demolition work using jackhammers - Operating plate compactors and other hand tools - Assisting with site clean-up and material handling - Supporting general civil tasks as required - Carrying out general site duties and additional tasks to ensure smooth operations Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess: - Experience in civil or demolition work - Proficiency in operating jackhammers and compactors - Physical strength and a strong commitment to safety - Reliable transportation and effective communication skills - The ability to pass drug and alcohol screening, as well as a Ministry of Justice check Benefits We offer the following benefits for this position: - Weekly pay with an additional 8% holiday pay - Competitive hourly rates ranging from $23.50 to $26.50 - Long-term project duration of approximately three years - A robust safety culture and strong crew support We invite you to click 'Apply' now to join this exciting opportunity.
