About Our Role
We are currently seeking a Caregiver for a permanent part-time position (15 hours per week) at Cargill Lifecare, with shifts available during the morning, afternoon, and night. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a genuine passion for caring for others. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents through your positive and compassionate attitude. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care, delivered with kindness and patience in a supportive atmosphere.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in caring for others, preferably in an aged care setting. A minimum NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent qualification, such as a Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing, is required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a genuine love for helping people. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive demeanor will help you excel in this position. Additionally, a commitment to continuous improvement and an understanding of health and safety procedures are important.
