About the Company Faith Construction and Consulting Ltd is a reputable firm specializing in comprehensive landscaping services across Auckland. As we continue to grow, we are now seeking three skilled landscapers to join our dynamic team. About the Role In this role, you will play a vital part in executing a variety of landscaping projects. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in landscaping who can interpret blueprints and have experience with both hardscape and softscape structures. You will work independently and as part of a team, contributing your creative skills to enhance outdoor spaces. Requirements To qualify for this position, candidates should possess: - A minimum of two years of relevant work experience, with New Zealand experience preferred. - The ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, or landscaping plans. - Strong proficiency in using landscaping tools and equipment. - Knowledge and practical skills in constructing hardscape and softscape features. - Creative skills in decking, fencing, paving, and tiling solutions. - The capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Key Responsibilities In your role, you will be responsible for: - Interpreting landscaping drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine project scope, materials, and methods. - Preparing and leveling sites, setting out landscaping structures, and ensuring accurate measurements. - Constructing and installing hardscape features such as decks, fences, retaining walls, paving, and garden structures. - Planting, propagating, and maintaining trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns. - Operating and maintaining landscaping tools, machinery, and equipment. - Collaborating with other landscapers, contractors, and designers to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. - Applying knowledge of horticulture, soil conditions, and climate to promote plant health and sustainability. Benefits We offer a competitive pay range of $31 to $35 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience. Our flexible working location covers various projects in the Auckland Region, with guaranteed minimum working hours of 30 hours per week, including potential Saturday work.
