About the Role
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Clinical Midwife Coordinator in our Women's Health Service. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing overall service delivery and addressing complex challenges that arise on a daily basis. Your exceptional problem-solving and time management skills will be vital as you navigate the demands of the position, ensuring that clinical areas are supported in providing high-quality midwifery and nursing care.
You will adopt a systems approach to maximize bed and staffing resource availability across our departments and locations. This position also offers the chance to enhance your leadership skills by coaching and supporting midwifery and nursing staff during out-of-hours shifts at Middlemore Hospital, as well as providing clinical advice to teams in primary birthing units as needed.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a New Zealand Registered Midwife with a current Annual Practicing Certificate. You should have at least five years of recent clinical experience in Secondary Maternity Care and possess leadership experience within the Quality Leadership Program (QLP).
