About the Role
We are currently seeking a National Training Manager to join our Auckland team, reporting directly to our Director of People, Safety and Culture. This role is crucial in refining the training processes for Ritchies drivers and employees, solidifying our reputation as a market leader in induction and training programs.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality national training programs that support the ongoing competency of our workforce. You will ensure that our staff meet licensing requirements, achieve NZQA qualifications, comply with contractual performance standards, and consistently adhere to New Zealand legislative needs. Additionally, you will lead a network of driver trainers and assessors across our depots, spanning from Kaitaia to Gore.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic leader with experience in developing training documentation and delivery programs across multiple sites. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to engage with individuals who have diverse learning styles, allowing you to create inclusive training programs.
Your attention to detail and strong time management skills will serve you well in this role. We value teamwork and effective communication, so your ability to convey information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders will be essential. A commitment to health and safety is a must, as you will advocate for its importance within our organization.
Your Skills
- Proven experience in developing training programs and documentation
- Self-starter with excellent leadership abilities
- Ideally, a tertiary qualification in business or a related field
- Strong communicator with great business acumen
- Interest in public transport
- Awareness of health and safety practices
