About the Role
We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Core 1 and Core 2 rotational physiotherapists to join our skilled and dedicated physiotherapy team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waitemata. This full-time position involves a rotational programme that allows you to gain experience across various clinical settings, enhancing your skills in assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning at our North Shore, Waitakere Hospital, and Wilson Centre sites.

About the Team/Service/Location
Our team offers a two-tier rotational scheme within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waitemata, covering three sites across the district.
Core 1 rotational positions last four months and provide experience in:
- Acute medical
- Respiratory
- Acute surgical
- Acute trauma and elective orthopaedic
- Older Adult Assessment Treatment Rehabilitation (ATR)
Core 2 rotational positions extend for eight months and, in addition to the above, include experiences in:
- Emergency Department / Acute Day Unit
- Intensive Care Unit / High Dependency Unit
- Acute stroke unit
- Outpatients (Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, Neuro, Vestibular)
- Trauma Orthopaedics
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Early Supported Discharge and Rehabilitation Service (Community-based rehabilitation)
- Paediatric rehabilitation at the Wilson Centre, the national paediatric rehabilitation provider
About You
To be considered for the Rotational Physiotherapist position, you should possess:
- Professional Registration and eligibility for an Annual Practicing Certificate with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand
