About the Role We are seeking Kitchen Hands to join our team of casual staff in the Wellington region. This role offers flexibility in working hours, allowing you to balance your commitments while choosing when and where you work. As a Kitchen Hand, your responsibilities will include: - Working in kitchens at rest homes, hospitals, and retirement villages - Taking meal orders and assisting in meal preparation - Setting and clearing tables, as well as serving meals to residents - Cleaning the kitchen, operating the dishwasher, and washing cooking dishes Requirements To be considered for this role, you should possess: - Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen, preferably in hospitality or aged care - A Food Safety Certificate, which is advantageous - Strong time management, customer service, and communication skills - Reliable transport to travel to our clients' facilities - A dependable work ethic, motivation, and the ability to work well in a team environment - Excellent food hygiene practices and personal hygiene standards A bit about working for us We provide a user-friendly mobile app where you can update your availability, allowing us to send you shift offer notifications that align with your schedule, preferences, and skills.
