About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Specialist to join our expanding Radiology Department at Te Toka Tumai Auckland. This permanent, full-time position involves working 80 hours per fortnight, with shifts scheduled between 7 am and 8:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and participation in weekend and on-call rosters.
In this role, you will provide radiological services across all three of our sites: Adult Radiology at Auckland City Hospital, Paediatric Radiology at Starship Hospital, and Outpatient Clinic at Greenlane Clinical Centre. Our Radiology Department is equipped with four state-of-the-art MRI scanners, including:
- A 1.5T Siemens Sola scanner for cardiac imaging and a mix of in and out-patient work.
- A 3T Siemens Vida scanner primarily for acute and in-patient cases.
- A 3T Siemens Skyra scanner for outpatient examinations at Greenlane Clinical Centre.
- A 3T Siemens Skyra located at Starship Children's Hospital, serving both paediatric and adult patients.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must be registered with the New Zealand MRT Board and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate. More details can be found at mrtboard.org.nz.
The ideal candidate will have experience in MRI, with cardiac imaging experience being highly desirable. You should possess strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary environment.
