About the Role: We are seeking a qualified Test Technician to join our high-performing Test Team. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing our equipment to ensure it meets statutory and safety requirements. Your work will be vital in ensuring that our contracting teams can operate safely and confidently. This role involves extensive travel throughout New Zealand, and you will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and service providers. Key responsibilities include: - Conducting inspections and tests on equipment to adhere to regulatory and safety standards. - Recording results and updating equipment details in Q-Pulse. - Coordinating with regional coordinators and external service providers to schedule testing. - Promoting safe practices while maintaining Northpower property and testing tools. - Identifying opportunities for process or safety improvements. About You: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - A registered NZ Electrician (EWRB) with a current practicing licence. - A valid class 1 full NZ driver's licence. - Strong organizational and planning abilities. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - A positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively across New Zealand.
