About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal leadership position that requires a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee critical components of our operations, including logistics, team management, systems and processes, problem-solving, health and safety, financial oversight, and strategic execution.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Logistics: Manage driver performance, route planning, scheduling, vehicle readiness, and service delivery.
People: Lead and develop a frontline operations team, ensuring high performance through support and accountability.
Systems & Process: Familiarize yourself with our unique software and processes, analyze data, and leverage insights to make informed operational decisions.
Problem-Solving: Tackle daily challenges with clarity and decisiveness, even when faced with incomplete information.
Health & Safety: Uphold our ISO-accredited standards, fostering a culture of care and safety.
Financial Acumen: Oversee budgets and costs, collaborating with leadership to ensure sustainable operational performance.
Strategy & Execution: Work closely with the General Manager to translate strategic goals into effective frontline execution.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5 years in a senior operations leadership role, preferably in logistics, service delivery, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading teams, managing complex operations, and achieving measurable outcomes.
- A keen systems mindset with the ability to quickly identify and rectify inefficiencies.
- High attention to detail and the confidence to challenge existing processes using data-driven insights.
- Resilience, strong drive, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
