About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Mower Operators to join our BOP team in the Katikati area. In this role, you will be responsible for mowing and turf activities within the Downer BOP Greenspace department, adhering to Downer policies and client specifications. You will also be required to undertake training as necessary. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to, mowing, edge control, litter control, and equipment maintenance. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Physical fitness and a willingness to work outdoors - Experience in wide area and sports field mowing, weed eating, and spraying is preferred - Turf renovation experience will be considered an advantage - A full clean Class 1 driver’s license is required; a Class 2 license is a plus - Ability to complete time and run sheets and some technical literacy to operate handheld electronic recording devices - Capability to follow operating runs and maintain machinery without supervision - A motivated approach to delivering quality results Benefits At Downer, we are committed to providing an environment where our employees can thrive.
