About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at our Christchurch (Hornby) offices. This role will report directly to our Head of Commercial Finance and will provide essential support to our Sales, Marketing, and Innovation teams. The Senior Finance Business Partner serves as the vital connection between our financial data and the actionable insights that drive our business units.
In this position, you will be tasked with supporting and challenging the Sales, Marketing, and Innovation teams by delivering profitability analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. You will prepare financial information that enhances strategic and operational decision-making. Additionally, you will contribute to better management of financial risks and governance activities while ensuring transactional accuracy in collaboration with our Finance processing team.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills and well-developed financial acumen. An appropriate tertiary qualification and CA qualification are essential. You should have proven experience either working with a CA firm or in a similar finance role within a large organization.
Exceptional communication, relationship management, and influencing skills are crucial, along with a proactive and "can-do" attitude. Attention to detail is important, as is a desire to add value by providing robust financial information, analysis, and reporting. The ability to quickly understand the workings of a large, complex business is necessary, and any prior knowledge of the dairy industry, FMCG, or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
