About the Role
We are seeking a Fabrication & Onsite Services Technician to join our dynamic team of five. This diverse role offers a unique opportunity where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for ensuring that all hose assemblies are manufactured to the highest standards and delivered within the required timeframe to meet customer needs.
Your role will also involve periodic overnight travel throughout the South Island, where you will inspect and certify hose assemblies on-site to ensure they meet specified standards. Additionally, you will maintain the presentation of our workshop and vehicles, promote our services to enhance site-work potential, and uphold our reputation as a market leader through exceptional customer service and craftsmanship.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong verbal communication skills
- A reliable and positive team player with a can-do attitude
- A valid full driver's license and forklift license
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to follow procedures, systems, and solve problems
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
