About the Role
We are currently seeking a Planned Care Services Coordinator for a fixed-term, full-time position (1.0 FTE) based at Tauranga Hospital. This role is an integral part of our team at Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi, responsible for ensuring that patients have timely access to elective services across all clinical sectors.
The successful candidate will report to the Planned Care Services Manager and should possess a solid understanding of the patient management system WebPAS, along with an awareness of planned care service processes, including Faster Cancer Treatment timeframes. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of planned care services for our growing population.
About the Location
Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi encompasses a wide geographical area and operates primarily from two hospitals located in Tauranga and Whakatane. We are dedicated to serving the diverse healthcare needs of our communities in this region.
About You
As a Planned Care Services Coordinator, you will thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment while supporting patient care delivery. We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in a large, complex healthcare environment
- Strong capabilities in providing high-quality data, analysis, and reporting
- The ability to support wider planned care teams in achieving Health New Zealand's objectives
- A willingness to engage in project work within the organization
