About the Role
In this hands-on position, you will have the opportunity to work with high-quality structural steel, contributing to a variety of large-scale projects. We seek someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering clean welds and exceptional fabrication work.
As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for maintaining a smooth workflow in our workshop while collaborating with a talented team. We value a motivated attitude, as every team member plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong welding and fabrication skills, be familiar with power tools and machinery, and ideally have experience operating a gantry crane. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a steady workflow and hands-on challenges in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- New Zealand Level 4 engineering trade qualification
- A minimum of 5 years of structural steel or heavy fabrication experience in New Zealand
- Experience operating a gantry crane is beneficial
- Reliable, motivated, and committed individuals
- Welding tickets or the ability to obtain them
