About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our dedicated team in a workshop-based position. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of heavy fabrication tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Key tasks include:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Performing heavy fabrication
- Executing MIG Flux Core and Stick welding (FCAW & SMAW)
- Working to tight deadlines to meet project timelines
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- A minimum of three years of experience in heavy fabrication
- Proficiency as a Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
- Ability to pass welding tickets if required
- Competence to work independently on projects from start to finish
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working from technical drawings
- A solid commitment to Health and Safety practices
