    Description

About the Company At Healthvision, we are a leading provider of Specialist Homecare, Community Nursing, and Rehabilitation services throughout New Zealand. We are passionate about well-being and strive to work closely with our service users, their families, and whanau. Our goal is to provide support that empowers individuals to live life on their own terms and maximize their independence. We take pride in making a positive difference in the lives of others. About the Role We are currently seeking community support workers in Taupo and Taumarunui. This position is ideal for individuals who are new to homecare or those looking to supplement their existing employment with additional hours. We welcome applicants with mature thinking, a common-sense approach, good initiative, and strong communication skills. A sense of humor and the ability to engage effectively with others are also essential qualities we value in our team members. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not a requirement. This community-based role involves flexible working hours, including morning, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. We are open to discussing your preferred hours during the recruitment process. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have the legal right to work in New Zealand. A clean Police Check is required, as well as access to your own car and a full driver’s license. Benefits We offer a competitive pay band of $24.13 to $30.03 per hour, based on the Pay Equity Settlement 2017, which assesses hourly pay rates according to healthcare qualifications. In addition to flexible working hours, we provide a travel allowance as per our in-between travel policy, aligned with Ministry of Health guidelines. We also encourage professional development opportunities and offer access to a free Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to support your well-being. If you share our values of mutual respect and a people-focused approach, and if you possess the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you. Join us in making a meaningful impact in our community.
