The Opportunity
We are seeking two strategic and collaborative Product Owners to take charge of the vision, development, and delivery of key products that align with FMG’s business strategy. These essential roles will ensure coordination between our technical and people readiness teams while maximizing value across various workstreams.
One of the Product Owners will focus on owning the product vision related to FMG's overall product strategy and client policies. The other will concentrate on the product vision in line with FMG's Pricing and Underwriting strategies.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and communicating the product vision and roadmap that aligns with our business needs. You will lead agile product management practices, including backlog prioritization and release planning.
Collaboration will be key as you work with development teams and subject matter experts to deliver high-value features. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively managing their expectations will also be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will support change planning, training, and benefit realization activities.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess a relevant tertiary qualification and have proven experience in product ownership, agile methodologies, and stakeholder engagement. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and influencing abilities.
We value a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. An understanding of rural communities and their challenges is a plus.
