About the Role
We are seeking an Automotive Glazier and Calibration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in automotive glazing while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for replacing and repairing windscreens as well as recalibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology. Your contributions will directly support our business partners, members, and customers, ensuring we uphold the highest standards of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Replace and repair damaged windscreens in accordance with vehicle manufacturer specifications.
- Perform calibration of ADAS technology fitted to windscreens after replacements.
- Provide exceptional service to AA members, business partners, and customers.
- Maintain AA Auto Glass vehicles, tools, and equipment to high standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations Coordinators and Contact Centre staff.
- Uphold health and safety standards by actively participating in hazard identification and corrective actions.
- Manage customer feedback professionally to ensure a positive experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar automotive glazing or technical role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility with working hours and a reliable work ethic.
