About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CoF B Automotive Technician to join our VTNZ Whakatane team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills through our award-winning training programs. Our company offers a competitive remuneration package, with an hourly rate ranging from $39 to $48.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who pays close attention to detail, enjoys working with others, and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. You should be available to work 40 hours per week, including some rostered weekend shifts.
To qualify for this role, you should possess a CoF B Authority. If you do not currently hold this certification, we can assist you in obtaining it at our training center, provided you have at least four years of experience as a diesel mechanic in full-time employment, focusing on repairs and maintenance of heavy on-road motor vehicles. Additionally, you must hold a minimum Class 2 NZ driver’s license or an equivalent.
Please note that the four-year experience requirement can be reduced to three years if you hold a Level 4 qualification or higher, which includes the necessary credits and knowledge for the New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (NZQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
