BestStart Russell Street in Palmerston North is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young learners. We are currently seeking a passionate, fully qualified, and registered Early Childhood Education (ECE) teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis, covering parental leave until January 2026. About the Role
In this full-time position, you will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with our energetic and curious 2 to 4-year-olds. Your role will focus on helping children build confidence, develop independence, and explore their surroundings in a safe and enriching environment. As a member of our supportive and experienced teaching team, you will have the opportunity to share your ideas, express your creativity, and engage in professional growth.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A qualified and certificated ECE teacher
- A strong understanding of Te Whāriki
- A commitment to embodying manaakitanga and building strong relationships
- A positive attitude that contributes to a collaborative team environment
- A dedication to providing rich learning experiences that align with our center's vision and philosophy
