About the Role We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our rostering team. This position offers an exciting opportunity as a Rostering Coordinator within our Payroll and Rostering Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building strong and trusting relationships with our staff and their leaders to ensure the effective delivery of rosters. Your efforts will help guarantee that the individuals we support can live fulfilling lives with minimal disruptions. Our team is collaborative and hardworking, and we take pride in finding enjoyment in our work. You will frequently communicate with Community Facilitators regarding advance rosters and the management of short-notice sick leave requirements. Your methodical approach and experience in forward planning will be key to your success in this position. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and attributes: - Effective communication skills, capable of engaging clearly and appropriately with diverse individuals. - Strong relationship-building abilities to foster effective working relationships. - Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining accurate records. - Problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues as they arise. - A confident and professional telephone manner, coupled with a strong focus on customer service. - Proficiency in using computers and navigating various software programs. - A sense of humor to enhance our team dynamic. Key Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include: - Managing the rostering system for all staff involved in supporting disabled individuals. - Ensuring that all shifts are filled promptly and efficiently. - Assigning staff based on their availability and skill sets. - Collaborating with team leaders to meet staffing requirements. - Addressing any rostering changes or issues that may arise. - Actively participating in regular team meetings and training sessions.
