    About the Company SJ Restaurant Limited, operating as Pizza Inn, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and quality food, and we are looking for a motivated individual to help us maintain our high standards during shifts. About the Role As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the restaurant. We expect you to work a minimum of 22-28 hours per week, with hours scheduled on a weekly basis, which may include weekend shifts. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the restaurant's operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and directing the activities of team members to optimize their contributions. Key Duties and Responsibilities In this role, you will: - Manage the restaurant's operations during your shift, ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures. - Direct team members by allocating specific responsibilities and monitoring their performance to enhance operational efficiency. - Oversee all employees on shift, following company guidelines for employee counseling or disciplinary actions when necessary. - Ensure that team members adhere to maintenance procedures as outlined in the maintenance roster and arrange for emergency repairs when needed, in line with company policies. - Maintain safety protocols to protect the well-being of employees and customers, as well as company assets. - Train new employees on proper company procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service. - Complete the manual poll procedure and ensure accurate daily stocktaking figures are entered into the Automated Restaurant Management System. - Order stock in accordance with established guidelines for your assigned shift. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should possess: - A relevant qualification, such as a minimum Level 7 in Hospitality or Business, or at least four years of full-time management experience in the hospitality industry. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - A valid LCQ License. - Basic computer literacy skills.
