About the Role We are currently seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to join our team. This permanent position operates from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, diagnosing, and maintaining a variety of petrol, hybrid, and electric vehicle models from Mitsubishi and Nissan. You will be expected to uphold quality workmanship that aligns with manufacturer standards while also supporting junior team members and contributing to the overall excellence of our workshop. Building strong relationships with local customers to ensure their service satisfaction will also be a key aspect of your role. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - A National Certificate in Automotive Engineering or equivalent - Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills - Experience with Mitsubishi or Nissan vehicles, or other automotive franchises, is advantageous - WOF authority is preferred but not mandatory - A full, clean New Zealand driver’s license - Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach Benefits We offer a competitive salary that reflects your skills and experience, along with access to specialized training pathways for Mitsubishi and Nissan vehicles.
