Our team is committed to excellence, and we take pride in our work. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our skilled team in a full-time, permanent position. Our workshop operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life experience without the stress of city living. In this role, you will perform general servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical and electrical repairs on a diverse range of Mitsubishi vehicles, including petrol, hybrid, and new-model models. You will deliver reliable, high-quality work that meets manufacturer requirements while supporting daily workshop operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to guide junior technicians or apprentices, contributing to their development. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and attributes: - A National Certificate in Automotive Engineering or an equivalent qualification from overseas - Proven experience in diagnostics and repairs - Mitsubishi experience is preferred but not essential - Warrant of Fitness (WOF) authority is ideal, though not required - A full, clean New Zealand driver's license - A strong work ethic and a positive attitude Benefits In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary that reflects your skills and contributions.
