About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as the Head of Home and Garden. This permanent, full-time position involves leading and managing our Home and Garden department categories. You will play a crucial role in enhancing team capabilities, driving sales and profitability, and continuously improving the customer experience. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for all managerial aspects of the allocated departments, including sales performance, employee relations, and health and safety. You will actively work within the business to achieve sales targets, maintain store standards, and engage with the products we offer. Additionally, this role is part of the operational duty managers roster, requiring weekend work on a permanent basis, with a typical schedule running from Sunday to Thursday. Requirements We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in sales and people leadership, preferably within big box retail or grocery settings. Ideal candidates will have previously held a store manager position in a small to medium-sized store or served as a department or assistant manager in a larger format store.
