Grader Operator

About the Company We are seeking a skilled operator to join a well-known and respected civil company located in Christchurch. About the Role We are looking for an operator who is proficient in grader operations, particularly in road preparation without the use of GPS. In addition to grader operations, you will need to be competent with a dozer and be flexible in switching between the two as required. Your responsibilities will include: - Cutting large areas to depth and creating stockpiles - Establishing and maintaining roads while directing truck drivers and other operators - Maintaining haul roads to ensure safe and efficient operations - Leveling base course and topsoil - Operating additional machinery as needed, including rollers and diggers - Assisting crews as necessary to ensure project completion Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - A valid WTR (Wheel, Track, and Roller) endorsement - Significant experience operating both graders and dozers - A Site Safe certification, which we can assist you in obtaining - A strong work ethic and reliability - Ability to pass a drug test - Legal right to work in New Zealand Benefits Joining our team means becoming part of a supportive environment where your skills will be valued.
