About the Role We are currently looking for Scaffolders who are organized, trustworthy, and pride themselves on their craftsmanship. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various construction projects and public events across the country, so flexibility regarding work locations is preferred. The Scaffolder will be responsible for the following tasks: - Building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as constructing stands and tiered seating for events such as concerts and sporting events. - Inspecting project sites to determine the necessary scaffolding requirements, unloading materials, assembling the scaffolding components, and securing ladders, rails, and other attachments. - Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, ensuring safety through regular inspections, and dismantling scaffolding once the job is completed. - Performing additional duties as assigned. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - A minimum of one year of relevant scaffolding experience. - A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic. - A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry. - A solid understanding of health and safety procedures. - Reliability and a strong work ethic. Benefits We offer competitive pay, with a range from $27.76 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. A minimum of 30 hours of work is guaranteed each week. You will primarily be required to work in Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago. This position is a permanent, full-time role.
