About the Company
At Tradestaff, we have been dedicated to connecting skilled tradespeople with reputable employers for over 25 years. As proud members of RCSA, we prioritize your safety, professional development, and success on every job. Our commitment to our workforce is unwavering, and we strive to create a positive and rewarding experience for all our candidates.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a HammerHand to join our team in Queenstown. This position offers a variety of exciting projects, including residential, commercial, and civil construction. We are looking for candidates who can start immediately and are eager to contribute to our dynamic environment.
In this role, you will assist carpenters with tasks such as framing, cladding, and other construction duties. You will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining power tools and machinery, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately, and ensuring that workspaces remain clean, organized, and safe. Additionally, you may be involved in formwork, concreting, and other site-specific requirements.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have relevant experience in the construction field. While having a car is advantageous, it is not mandatory. A nail bag and basic hand tools are beneficial but not essential. Candidates should be able to provide work-related references and must be physically fit to handle the demands of a busy construction site.
We offer a range of opportunities tailored to your preferences, so whether you are a seasoned HammerHand or just starting out, we encourage you to apply regardless of your experience level.
Benefits
In return for your hard work, we offer competitive rates and weekly pay. You will have access to a variety of projects, and we provide free safety gear (PPE) to ensure your well-being on the job. Both long-term and short-term opportunities are available, and once registered with us, you can transfer across our nationwide offices, which include Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell, and Invercargill.
