About the Role
We are currently looking for Electrical Trade Assistants to join our team for both commercial and residential projects throughout Auckland. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade. Whether you are just starting out or have prior experience, we welcome your application.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support qualified electricians with various tasks, including cable pulling, tray work, and electrical fit-offs. You will operate hand and power tools under guidance and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Following health and safety protocols is essential, as is performing general laboring duties to support the team.
What You'll Bring
While on-site experience in construction or electrical work is preferred, it is not essential. We value a strong willingness to learn, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to hard work. Reliability and punctuality are crucial, along with physical capability for the job. Candidates should have or be willing to obtain Site Safe, EWP, or ConstructSafe certifications. A strong work ethic and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
