About the Company At Trade Me, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and flexible workplace where our employees can thrive. We value diversity and encourage our team members to reach their full potential. As an INZ accredited employer, we believe in supporting our staff in their career journeys while fostering a collaborative environment. About the Role We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to ensure the smooth and effective operation of our Salesforce platform. In this role, you will be responsible for core administration, support, and optimization of the system. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and implement practical Salesforce solutions and automations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the comprehensive administration and security of our Salesforce platform, which includes user management (setups, profiles, roles, permissions, sharing rules), system configurations (fields, page layouts, record types), and proactive monitoring of overall system health. - Providing high-quality, timely support to Salesforce users by effectively resolving issues, managing enhancement requests, and ensuring an excellent end-user experience. - Developing and maintaining robust declarative automations primarily using Flow Builder, along with workflows and validation rules, to streamline business processes and enhance system efficiency. - Managing Salesforce data integrity and quality through the implementation of processes for data loading, cleansing, deduplication, backups, and creating insightful reports and dashboards. - Leading the planning, testing, and execution of Salesforce seasonal release updates, ensuring seamless adoption of new features and maintaining system stability. - Engaging with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gathering and analyzing requirements for system enhancements, and translating these into well-defined Salesforce solution proposals. - Designing and implementing effective Salesforce solutions, primarily leveraging standard functionality and declarative "clicks not code" approaches to meet defined business requirements. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experience: - A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a complex environment. - Salesforce Certified Administrator credential is required; additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus. - Demonstrable experience managing all aspects of Salesforce administration, including user management, security, data management, reports/dashboards, and workflow/flow automation. - Experience administering in a Lightning environment and managing Salesforce release cycles, including deploying changes from sandboxes to production. - Familiarity with data management tools (e.g., Data Loader, Data Import Wizard) and techniques for maintaining data quality. - A solid understanding of Salesforce’s data sharing model (profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing settings). - Experience in creating and maintaining system documentation, with some background in gathering business requirements and translating them into Salesforce solutions being highly desirable. - Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with other systems is advantageous. - A comprehensive understanding of Salesforce.com administration, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the core platform. - Strong proficiency in the Lightning Experience, including the ability to create and manage Lightning pages and apps. - Proven ability in declarative automation tools, especially Flow Builder, as well as traditional workflow rules and process builder. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the capability to troubleshoot complex platform issues. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Benefits At Trade Me, we believe in offering our employees a supportive work environment and a range of benefits, including: - Flexibility: We embrace flexible working arrangements with a guideline for our team to be in the office 60% of the time. We provide support for home office setups and a utilities allowance to ensure you can work comfortably. - Leave: We recognize the importance of taking time off, offering 5 days of wellness leave each year and 10 days of sick leave from your first day. - Social: We foster a sense of community with regular company-paid lunches on payday, Friday drinks and nibbles, annual Trade Me company awards, and various celebrations. - Learning: We are committed to your growth from day one, offering opportunities for on-the-job training, formal education, mentoring, and more. We understand that some candidates may hesitate to apply if they do not meet every qualification. If you are excited about this opportunity, we encourage you to send us your resume along with a brief cover note explaining your interest in the role. We look forward to hearing from you.
