About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team in the Otago and Southland regions. This role primarily focuses on projects in Otago, but there may be opportunities to work in Southland, which will be discussed further with the successful applicant. In this position, you will be involved in a variety of carpentry tasks, including residential, commercial, and civil projects. We are looking for carpenters who are confident in their abilities and can demonstrate expertise in the following areas: - Residential, commercial, and civil carpentry - 1st, 2nd, and final fix carpentry - Reading plans and following specifications - Shuttering joinery and steel tying - Framing, subflooring, cladding, and roof framing - Concrete formwork (this is a bonus) Your skills will be essential whether you are constructing new homes, working on commercial interiors, or contributing to civil infrastructure projects. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in carpentry - A trade qualification is preferred, although substantial experience will also be considered - Possession of your own hand and power tools - A full driver's license and reliable transport - Two professional work references - A strong commitment to health and safety practices - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Benefits In return for your skills and commitment, we offer: - Competitive hourly rates ranging from $30 to $35, depending on experience - A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours of work per week - Opportunities to engage in ongoing and varied projects - Support from a respected recruiter who is dedicated to your success - Potential for long-term placements with reputable employers If you are ready to take the next step in your carpentry career, we encourage you to apply now and secure your next opportunity with us.
