    Laboratory Technician - Food Industry We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician with a strong background in potato quality testing to join our leading food processing team. If you have hands-on experience in a lab setting and can differentiate between dry matter and defect counts, we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will be instrumental in monitoring potato quality and ensuring product integrity throughout the production process, from raw intake to the finished product. About the Role As a Laboratory Technician, your responsibilities will include: - Conducting physical and chemical tests on both raw and processed potatoes - Monitoring product quality during production runs - Recording and reporting data to ensure compliance with food safety standards - Calibrating, cleaning, and maintaining lab equipment - Assisting with traceability, non-conformance investigations, and audits You’ll Bring To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Previous laboratory experience in potato processing or a similar food production environment - A solid understanding of quality metrics such as dry matter, sugar levels, defects, and fry tests - Strong documentation and communication skills - The ability to work independently while adhering to established protocols - Flexibility to work across shifts as needed Benefits Joining our team means you will work alongside professionals who value your industry-specific skills.
