About the Role
We are currently seeking multiple enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Hands to join our team at Taranaki Hospital. This position offers flexible working hours on an "as and when required" basis, with shifts available across all seven days of the week.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our patients
- Maintaining clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas
- Washing dishes and assisting with tray line service
- Delivering meals to patients
- Engaging in basic food preparation
We are looking for team players who possess strong time management and customer care skills. A friendly, outgoing personality and a proactive attitude are essential. You will adhere to our policies and procedures, ensuring a safe workplace for yourself and your colleagues.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Some experience in food preparation and kitchen work
- A food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or a willingness to obtain one
- Excellent customer service skills, along with a genuine passion for food and quality service

Requirements
