About the Role
We are currently seeking multiple enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Hands to join our team at Taranaki Hospital. This position offers flexible hours based on an "as and when required" basis, with shifts rostered across seven days.
In this role, you will play a vital part in providing outstanding customer service to our patients. Your responsibilities will include maintaining clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas, washing dishes, assisting with tray line service, delivering meals to patients, and engaging in basic food preparation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will be a team player with strong time management and customer care skills. A friendly, outgoing personality and a proactive attitude are essential. You will need to adhere to our company procedures and policies, ensuring a safe workplace for everyone.
Candidates should have some experience in food preparation and kitchen work, along with a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or a willingness to train for one. Superior customer service skills are a must, and most importantly, you should have a passion for great food and quality service.
