About the Role We are seeking Qualified Bakers to join our team and help us create an outstanding bakery department. This is a unique opportunity to contribute from the ground up, shaping our offerings and ensuring everything we produce meets our high standards for freshness, consistency, and presentation. In this role, you will be responsible for producing a variety of breads, rolls, pastries, and other baked goods from scratch. The position requires early morning starts and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with mixing, preparing, baking, and presenting products that our customers will love. Adherence to strict food safety and hygiene standards is essential. Start dates will be staggered leading up to our opening, with some team members beginning up to a week earlier for training and setup. We will discuss specific dates with you during the hiring process. About You We are looking for a qualified baker who is enthusiastic, reliable, and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes: - A Bakery Trade qualification or similar - Proven experience in a commercial or supermarket bakery - Confidence in following recipes and maintaining consistent product quality - Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards - Ability to manage early morning starts and work efficiently in a busy setting - Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues - Organizational skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products Why Join Us?
