About the Company We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our new PAK’nSAVE in Rolleston in October 2025. As we prepare to welcome customers, we are seeking Qualified Butchers to join our team and help establish our butchery department. Our goal is to create a supermarket that sets the standard for low-cost shopping in New Zealand, while serving one of the country's fastest-growing communities with exceptional value and service. About the Role In the role of Butcher, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality meat products to our customers. Your responsibilities will include cutting, preparing, displaying, and maintaining a diverse range of meat products. You will be expected to ensure that the department operates efficiently while adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards. This position offers you the chance to share your ideas, contribute your expertise, and help shape a department that takes pride in its offerings. All team members will be required to work either a Saturday or Sunday shift, and start dates will be staggered leading up to our opening in October. Some team members may begin their roles up to a week earlier for training and setup. We will confirm specific hours and dates with successful applicants prior to offering a position. Requirements We are looking for a qualified butcher who takes pride in their craft and is eager to contribute to a team culture focused on quality and trust.
