About the Role We are currently seeking a Quality Business Partner to join our Quality and Regulatory Affairs (QRA) Directorate. This position is essential to our organization as it provides support and guidance on quality and compliance issues across all functions. At NZBS, we adhere to Good Practice Guidelines (GMP/GLP/GDP) and are licensed by Medsafe, with our laboratories holding ISO15189 IANZ accreditation. In this role, you will serve as a trusted expert in quality assurance and regulatory affairs, ensuring that our life-saving products and services consistently meet the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Partnering with operational teams to foster a strong quality culture and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, licenses, and international standards. - Leading internal and external audits, driving continuous improvement through corrective and preventive actions. - Providing expert guidance on Good Practice Standards (GxP), quality systems, and change management processes. - Collaborating across functions to support safe, compliant, and effective operations. - Delivering impactful training and education to help teams understand and apply quality principles. - Playing a key role in incident management, risk mitigation, and validation of new equipment and processes. Your contributions will directly impact the safety of donors and patients, as well as the integrity of our services throughout New Zealand. About You We are looking for a confident and collaborative professional who thrives in a regulated healthcare environment. You should possess: - A degree in science or a related technical, clinical, or pharmaceutical field. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, medical laboratory science, nursing, or a similar role in a regulated healthcare setting. - Knowledge of good practice standards GxP, ISO standards, and international regulatory frameworks. - Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and drive quality improvements. - A methodical and organized approach, coupled with a passion for continuous learning and improvement. - Willingness to travel across NZBS and Health NZ sites as needed. You should be approachable, empathetic, and lead by example, consistently upholding the highest standards of safety, integrity, and respect.
